Dr. Brown mastered watercolor specifically for painting the Mount Dora Watercolors. He has shown little interest in using the medium for other paintings. He did start an Amish series in watercolor but stopped after three paintings. Only one, Amish Blacksmith, is available for exhibit. As a warm up to watercolor use, he painted Louise's Lilacs.
